You Go Girl. Literally

Hello peeps. Another rainy day in Florida. We had more rain yesterday than all weekend with Beryl. It's a welcomes rain though as we really need it.

Today's card is for my little niece Hannah who has been working on potty training and doing a great job. We are very proud of her!

I stamped the monster on patterned paper and shaded her with my Copics. I also stamped the image again on pink cardstock and cut it to be big girl panties and added white dots with my White gel pen. I punched the flowers and added a little bling and drew in the stems. Added a little clouds with my dauber and stamped the balloon.

Enjoy!

Because Nice Matters

TGIF! I am so ready for a three day weekend.

I just love this card. I used my tag punch and made the scallop top and bottom of the mat for the image.

I stamped the image and colored with my stampin write markers. Rather just just coloring in the whole image, I liked the curls for the leaves which gives it a nice "airy" look.

I used the border punch for the edge of the pink and finished off with the green gingham bow.

Bonus photo - Little Lady Sadie loves to be the center of attention and if my daughter gets near me she tries to split us up. Yesterday I was on the couch and Sadie got up so Katie sat down and she wouldn't stand for it do she tried everything she could to wedge us apart. Silly girl!

Hello with Big Gingham Bow

Hello peeps! I have a rather interesting card to share with you today. I used the hello blossoms stamp from stampin up and stamped on black to make the centers for my card on Monday and when I was left with the empty centers I thought it was pretty neat

I stamped the image again in pink and placed it behind for the letters to show through and once again had a complete image for a card. I added a close up so you could see the detail.

I accent the pink letters with the large gingham ribbon and in just a few minutes had a nice little simple card.

Enjoy!

Distressed Hello

It's been a busy weekend in Sunny Florida. Getting ready for the end of school. Another milestone...it's time for high school. Where did the time go. My daughter had her eight grade dance Friday night. Next stop,...prom.

Today's card is done using a distressed method. I used a sponge and created the blue paper using island indigo ink. I then stamped the dots in the same color. You can see the difference the sponging makes versus the straight stamping.

I inked the image using my stampin up markers adding different colors where I wanted them to be and stamped it on white paper. I then stamped the image on black using white ink and punched out the letters and added them to the center of the flowers.

I love the color combination of this card. I'm trying to use colors I don't normally use (like the pumpkin pie) and stamps that just seem to sit on the shelf.

Enjoy!

Simple Thank You

Hello everyone. Hope your week is going well. It's flying by here.

Todays card is fast and simple. I took a single stamp and matted it cut another may and angled it and used the glitter pen to go over the swirls and done. Great idea of you need to make a stack of them.

Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Block

We're on a roll it's already Tuesday and soon it will be a three day weekend!

I am working on lots of goodies to share with you. Just a few more days until the new Stampin Up catalog is out and you can order some great new products. I can't wait to share some samples with you.

Today's card is made using one of my retired stamps Birthday Blocks. I will have blog candy coming soon to fife a few retired sets away

On today's card I used basic gray, Baha breeze and white cardstock. I think the gray ribbon would have been nice but I'm using the supplies I have on hand to make room for new.

Enjoy!

Textured Layers

Getting back on track here. It's been a crazy week.

Today's card is so pretty. I wanted to do a white on white card but couldn't get past the plain background so I added the layer of texture. I used a dollar stamp and added the button for the flower. Once I put all that white I decided it needed a little more color, thus the two bows.

I love the end result.

Enjoy!

Paper Smooches Love You Dearly

Sorry for the late post today. I never thought to take a picture of my card until I got halfway to work! :-/

The Giddy Bugs stamp set has the cutest little bugs and I had not had an opportunity to try the butterfly so here he is! I colored him with my Copics and use the Smooch pearlized Top Coat for his wings. It really makes them shimmer. I used the saying from the paper Smooches Pretty Phrases set and made it look like the butterfly trail. The background is stamped with Geo-Graphic by Paper Smooches. Can you say Smooch addict? ;)

Happy Birthday with Copics and Bling

Hello everyone. We had an awesome rainy night. Great snuggle and sleeping weather. My grass so needs the rain.

I picked up this stamp to put it away and thought I would stamp her one more time before putting her on the shelf.

She is colored with Copics, of course, and I had added a second photo to show you the detailed layering and blind. I added pink pearls to the icing edge and a little glitz smooch in between. I layered on a glitter paper and added the sentiment in white.

Enjoy!

Something for You

Happy Monday Peeps! I can't believe we are halfway through May.

Today's card is a happy little one that can use used for birthdays or just because.

The image is from Stampendois. I stamped using my Momento ink pad and colored with my Copics. I added Glitz Smooch to the wings of the new for a little sparkle.

The mat base is embossed with the large dot embossing folder and the sentiment is stamped on a tag punch. I needed a little something else so I added the three buttons.

Enjoy!

Birthday Wishes digi images

TGIF! I picked a few digital images off of the Internet to play with. This was the first. I love having the ability to resize the images to fit my needs. This enables me to make them a little larger for scrapbook pages.

Today's image is from www.cleardollarstamps.com. I thought the little bird was so cute. If you want to color them with your Copic markets you need to print them on a laser printer (permanent ink).

I have layered the cloud and bird on a few fishtail flags and stamped my sentiment on the white one.

I was working at my table last night and looked up to find Little lady Sadie sitting on a stack of papers just waiting to go to bed! She's just the cutest, not patient but cute!

Enjoy!

Thanks So Much with Paper Smooches

Thanks to all of my new and old followers for taking time to visit and see the creations I have made to share with you!

Today's card is made using one of my favorite stamp lines, Paper Smooches. The honeycomb border is in one of the border sets and the bee is in another. The bee is, of course, colored with Copics and I then added crystal effects to the black part of the body. The sentiment is also colored with Copics The little bee just makes me smile when I see him.

First day with trainer yesterday. I'll feel so good when it stops hurting!

Woohooo so many layers and a tomato

I went layer happy on this card that's for sure! I think I used almost twenty dimensionals lol

I started with the base of the tree branch and the owl cut out and layered. Then I just kept going.

The ribbon is one sided so for my peeps that can now tie the perfect bow, here is another challenge for you. Get all of the right sides to show. It took me a while but with the pull and tug it finally all turned the right way.

Isn't it the cutest?

On another note, here is tomato number twenty off of the yearly tomato plant! I may just have another title to add to the list.

Enjoy!

Embrace Life

I went through my Retired Stampin Up stamps and out of several shelves I now have thirty active sets so j decided to make an oldie but goodie pile to keep and one to go away. This one will be in the go away pile. It has an Asian flair and nits one of those you look at and say why did I buy this one. Lol

I stamped the leaves on cardstock and stamped the flower separate to color with my Copics. I then cut it our and added it with a dimensional. I matted each layer with Crumb Cake and then added the green pearls.

The sentiment was stamped and punched with the word window and then matted.

Enjoy!

Bella Wedding Card

Another Weekend has come and gone. Why can't the week go by that fast? Lol.

Today's card is a simple but elegant wedding card. I embossed the white base mat added a fishtail flag in red and my matted image. The image was colored with Copics and I added some bling with my Gelly Roll pen. I used the glitz Smooch to do her shoes silver.

Enjoy!

Sup Grillfriend Paper Smooches Cardstock Challenge

Can you say cute cute cute? This is the new release set from Paper Smooches called Alfresco. I love the burger and the hotdog and the sentiment is the icing on the cake.

I stamped the images in multiple places and layered the lettuce and cheese using dimensionals. I also added the yellow quartz diva glitter liner to the hot dog for the mustard (I love mustard)! I finished my card off with a red gingham "picnic" bow! :)

Enjoy!

Happy Sunday

We interrupt our regular scheduled programming for beach day!

TGIF!!!

Have a great weekend peeps!

Just for You

Don't you hate when you need a little gift card and have none on hand? I have created four little gift cards using the same stamps and changed the colors. Now when I need a little tag, I can pull one out of the stash and go.

The flowers are colored with Copics and detailed with the Gelly Roll pens. I then cut them out and added them to the stems with dimensionals.

TGIF! Enjoy!

I Love You

Some time you just need a simple card to say the biggest things. It's funny how life can change from one day to the next. Never miss an opportunity to tell someone you love them.

Today's card is stamped and colored with Copics. I then cut it out and attached it to the card with dimensionals. The background was embossed with the large dots embossing folder and I added the happy yellow ribbon.

Enjoy!

Happy Birthday a year late

Isn't it like Christmas when you go through your old purses and find things you just left in them when you switched to the next purse? Well thats just what I did last week. Here is my sisters birthday card from last year. I took it to her and never gave it to her. So this year she will get two!

I stamped the flowers and leaves and added them to the base using dimensionals and added a double bow. Since I didn't put a sentiment on the front of the card I took a photo of the inside to show you.

Better late than never I guess! Enjoy!
